The top scoring pictures for 2009

Each month you the visitors on PowerShot User vote for the pictures of the day. At the end of the month the scores are counted, and the picture with the highest average score is declared picture of the month. However in some months there's many high scoring pictures so while each month the winning score is different, some months work out tougher than others. To recognise this it's time to look back at the best scoring fifteen scoring images from 2009

  1. Mike Landwehr - Curious, taken with a Canon EOS-1D Mark II N scored 4.29 on 6/10

  15. Richard D Miller - Taking Off, taken with a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XS scored 3.80 on 28/4

In the event of a tie more decimal places are checked, and then if needed we look at how many votes were cast to order the pictures. So for 2009 outright congratulations to Mike Landwehr for not only sending in many pictures, but also for the #1, #2 and #6 higest scored pictures in 2009. Hope to see some more in 2010.
